What information do you need to start a quote?
Your current full policies — not declarations pages — for General Liability, Workers' Comp, Commercial Auto, Errors & Omissions (Professional Liability), and Excess Liability if the contract calls for it. Include recent loss runs, a sample of your standard client contracts, and subcontractor certificates if you use them.
Why do you need full policies instead of the declarations page?
The declarations page shows limits and premium. It doesn't show the forms and endorsements that determine what's actually excluded. For security guard operations, those exclusions are where the real exposure sits — we need to see them to quote accurately.
Do you write coverage for armed guards?
Yes. Armed guard operations carry different exposure than unarmed patrol, and your General Liability and Workers' Comp coverage is written to reflect that.
How long does a quote take?
Once we have your full submission — policies, loss runs, contracts — expect a turnaround of a few business days depending on carrier response times. Incomplete submissions are the single biggest cause of delay.
Can you cover a mixed operation — armed and unarmed guards, patrol vehicles, and monitoring?
Yes. Most security operations run a mix. Tell us the full picture — headcount by role, vehicles, contract types — and the quote is built around your actual operation, not a single-line generic policy.
Do you require a minimum number of guards or contracts?
No fixed minimum. We've placed coverage for smaller operations and larger ones. The submission requirements are the same either way.
Will you review my current coverage even if I'm not ready to switch?
Yes. Send the same submission — full policies and loss runs — and you'll get a straight answer on gaps or pricing, no obligation to move anything.
